New panelPlus™ Biomarker Sensors permit real time observation of multiplexed analytes and provide a wider detection range in a single assay than previously available. Researchers are able to combine ready to use panelPlus protein analytes with proprietary targets using the panelPlus Address Kit.

Developers of new multiplex protein assays need the ability to easily customize panel content to accommodate the specific clinical question under study.  Evaluation and validation of new markers would be further accelerated by a simple way to incorporate existing clinically relevant markers into the same panel. To meet both these requirements, the panelPlus Sensors for the dotLab System combine the power of real time detection with a unique approach to self-addressing reagents. This gives complete flexibility in designing panels and is made practical by the removal of endpoint restrictions on the assays.

 

 

 

 

How it Works:

Each assay location within the sensor is provided coupled with a unique oligonucleotide-addressing reagent. Capture reagents are supplied pre-addressed with the complementary oligonucleotide sequence. When introduced to the sensors, the capture reagents rapidly hybridize to their location without cross reacting to other spots. Simple conjugation kits allow users to address their own affinity reagents as required. This approach gives complete flexibility in designing panels and is made practical by the removal of endpoint restrictions on the assays.

Offering significant advantages over end point techniques, the panelPlus Sensor greatly simplifies the creation of custom biomarker panels using these self addressing reagents. The capture surface is replenished with each sample to ensure excellent reproducibility. Novel discoveries can now be compared directly to markers with known utility without increasing sample volume requirements. panelPlus Sensors are for use on the innovative dotLab® System.
